Membership Categories

Institutional Membership  Join\Renew

Collegiate, degree-granting institutions, accredited (or approved as a candidate for accreditation) by the appropriate regional accrediting agency [e.g. the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) or the North Central Association on Colleges and Schools (NCACS)]. The institution must also be a member or eligible for membership in its state/regional association in the SACRAO region.  Renewal Reminder: If you are unsure whether your institution had an active membership in the past, please reach out to the Vice President for States, Regionals, and Membership. Submitting a new application could result in a duplicate institutional record.

Educational Agency Membership  Join\Renew

State Educational Boards or Agencies of Higher Education in the SACRAO region.

Graduate Student Membership  Join\Renew

Graduate students interested in pursuing careers in the profession are eligible to apply for graduate student membership. This membership is non-voting.

Corporate Membership  Join\Renew

Organizations that are not collegiate or state-related educational boards or agencies.

Associate Membership  Join\Renew

Individuals who are not eligible for any other membership in SACRAO.

Note:  Beginning with the 2018-2019 membership year for institutional members, SACRAO moved to a tiered system for annual dues.  As a result, your institution is no longer limited to a specific number of individual members.  SACRAO encourages your institutional key contact to add all staff within your respective admissions and registrar offices.  For more information on the benefits of membership, visit https://www.sacrao.org/benefits.

Other Membership Types

As of February 12, 2021, Corporate Partners and Educational Agencies no longer have individual member caps.  Corporate Partner and Educational Agency membership dues remain the same.
