In support of this mission, we invite qualified applicants to apply for the position of Scheduling & Course Maintenance Specialist/Education Support Specialist III in the Office of the Registrar. This position will ensure all scheduling data is in compliance with University policies and procedures within appropriate time frames as governed by the academic calendar for scheduling services. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•	Responsible for orchestrating campus building and room usage into the Term Master Schedule using Banner and 25Live Integrated Event Schedule
•	Coordinates course fees with Cashiering & Student Accounts and ensures course detail fee codes are applied appropriately
•	Constant monitoring, review and management of schedule for accuracy, including schedule type, instructional method, rooms, length of course meetings, etc. In addition to monitoring course capacities during registration periods
•	Provides spring, fall and summer Term Exam calendar to Academic Affairs
•	Enters and maintains all curriculum changes to courses in Banner
•	Assist the Associate Registrar of Technology with Degree Works Scribing and report building in ARGOS and SQL
•	Provide processing support in an on-line environment characterized by deadlines and frequent interruptions, as well as high-level, customer-oriented services to students, faculty and administration
•	Responsible for purchasing, accounts payable, budget management and all eVA functions
•	Assists with customer service for walk-in, email, chat and telephonic traffic
•	Create positive verbal and written communications
•	Assist Registrar and Associate Registrar as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
•	Associates Degree or equivalent combination of training and work experience
•	Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
•	Work experience with Microsoft Office Suite desirable
•	Demonstrated ability to learn required new skill sets
•	Work experience in systems used for data report writing, such as ARGOS, desirable
•	Demonstrated ability to work independently, accurately and with attention to detail
•	Demonstrated analytical, technical, time management and accuracy skills
•	Demonstrated ability to multi-task
•	Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills
•	Work experience in DegreeWorks Scribe preferred
•	Work experience in SQL or other programming language preferred
•	Work experience in 25LIVE and Banner preferred

Pay Band 4.  Commonwealth of Virginia benefits accompany this position.  A successful criminal background check is required.  Position will be posted a minimum of five days.
