Description:
Responsible for developing schedules of classes and examinations; utilization and assignment of instructional space; publication of university courses and program catalogs. 

Assumes responsibility for planning, developing, establishing and controlling methods, procedures, and systems designed to increase overall effectiveness of facility and space utilization and space management of academically related space on campus.  Performs all duties in full support of the University’s brand, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties is instrumental to High Point Universities’ core business.
Responsible for developing, maintaining and executing articulation and transfer credit equivalencies for High Point University. The Transfer Credit and Articulation Analyst works under the direction of the University Registrar and in collaboration with colleagues in the Undergraduate Admissions team to collaboratively execute institutional strategic initiatives and ensure compliance in university policies and initiatives.

Develop, coordinate, implement and maintain articulation agreements, including agreements with other regionally-accredited institutions. Under the direction of the University Registrar, determine strategic opportunities for developing these transfer pathways. Coordinate the solicitation and review of course syllabi and supporting materials by faculty and academic colleagues, and document processes related to equivalencies and agreement development. Serve as point of contact and counsel to colleagues in development of agreements and defined transfer pathways.


Education
·	Master’s degree required
Experience and Training
·	Minimum 4 years related experience in higher education
·	CollegeNet 25 Live, X25 master planning experience preferred
·	Ellucian software, training in transfer articulation systems

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
·	Knowledge and experience with the interpretation and implementation of academic records policies and procedures; campus academic space specs and requirements; degree requirements; knowledge of state and federal regulations
·	Knowledge of information technology, and ability to learn new software programs and support existing college-supported software such as Workday and CollegeNet
·	Ability to research and resolve complex problems
·	Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·	Strong interpersonal skills
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•	Develops, maintains, and oversees an inventory of University building and space data through the use of space management software and other methods as appropriate.  Assumes responsibility for space data assessment and input, as well as maintenance and updating of software, data and licenses.  Assigns and classifies space according to applicable standards and procedures.   Trains designated users on appropriate data retrieval.  Provides space use statistics, customized analysis, floor plans and space data to campus departments. 
•	Assists in the development, implementation and oversight of short and long term goals designed to effectively utilize space on campus.  Analyzes potential space use changes through software driven scenario planning. Provides pertinent space use planning information to campus planners, University officials, and the space committee.  Conducts studies, researches and compiles data used for campus planning. Develops appropriate reports and presentations.  Resolves academic space scheduling conflicts.

•	Establishes, cultivates and maintains effective working relationships with various internal and external constituencies. Represents the department on various internal and external committees as necessary and appropriate.   Participates in campus space planning, campus master planning, and capital improvement planning processes as assigned.  
•	Maintains classroom scheduling software, 25 Live; resolves classroom and academic scheduling conflicts.
•	Facilitate HPU’s participation in statewide transfer equivalency guarantees, including but not limited to the NCICU. Manage process of evaluation of equivalencies through academic colleges and use professional judgment and discretion to synthesize findings. Interpret HPU’s transfer credit policy to determine applicability of statewide credit equivalency directives relative to institutional academic requirements as codified in the Course Bulletin.
•	Manages all study abroad registrations.
•	Other duties as assigned by the University Registrar
