The Assistant Director for Transfer Recruitment reports to the Associate Director of Undergraduate Recruitment under the auspices of Enrollment Management. The position(s) is/are twelve month, full-time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Assistant Director’s primary responsibilities will include: • Directly supervise graduate student, student workers and future transfer counselors • Assists with supervising and training of other recruitment staff • Develop and articulate an in-depth knowledge base of university programs, admission policies, and procedures. • Directly responsible for transfer territory management, recruitment reporting and enrollment funnel analysis. • Travel is mandatory and includes some nights and weekends. • Budget responsibility for transfer recruitment. • Utilize Banner system to document all activity, interactions, and statistical records of prospective transfer students and applicants. • In collaboration with Associate Director for Undergraduate Recruitment and MARCOMM, assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of transfer recruitment and yield communication plans including print publications, web, and social and digital media. • Assist with full recruitment publication management and text messaging campaign • Develop, organize, coordinate, and manage on- and off-campus recruitment yield events and campaigns for transfer students and community colleges advisors. • Extensive prospective student profile management to include data entry, data analysis, emailing, calling, and texting. • Promote and assist with building & providing accurate documentation on MOU’s • Serves as back up for undergraduate recruitment • Assist with Admissions and Student Recruitment visit days Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Supervisory skills • Interpersonal skills • Organizational skills • Critical thinking skills • Written and verbal communication skills • Time management skills • Technology adept Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with experience in Banner and/or the higher education environment will be given preference. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum Education, Certification, or Experience Requirements: A baccalaureate degree is required.
