North Central Texas College is accepting applications for a Registration Systems Specialist/International Advisor: Corinth/Gainesville, Texas; Full-Time; Benefits Eligible Summary The position will be the primary contact for international student admissions and SEVIS maintenance while working closely with the PDSO. Education: • Associate’s Degree Experience: • Two years experience in Student Services or other related experience required • Three years experience in admissions/registrar related area, preferably with international admissions preferred Skills & Abilities: • Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume, environment. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Effective problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative. • Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume, environment. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability to be composed and proactive in varied interactions. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with persons from diverse cultural backgrounds. Responsibilities & Duties: • Responsible for the advisement of all NCTC international students in the areas of admission, registration, immigration status, and transferring to other institutions of higher education. • Travel to Gainesville campus 1 day a week required • Responsible for assisting with various reporting and registration functions. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and campus hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday, 8am-noon. Travel may be required to other off-site locations.
