CRM/Customer Database Manager Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a CRM/Customer Database Manager position. This position manages the Office of Admissions and Merit Awards' third-party, web-based customer relationship management (CRM) system. In collaboration with the senior leadership, this position is responsible for all aspects of deploying the strategic communications plan, generating required reports, building queries and maintaining the security of the data in the CRM system. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing business processes that create departmental efficiencies and solutions for communicating with students, parents, counselors, and for managing events and programs that are part of the greater departmental outreach initiatives; working in collaboration with the Enrollment Communications staff to assist with the development and management of the CRM communication plans for the department with current outreach event dates, emails, student testimonials, etc.; managing all imports into Hobsons Radius; serving as the data integration specialist of all prospect and application data; working in conjunction with Information Technology Services (ITS) to develop file layouts to ensure the successful integration of data between Hobsons Radius and Colleague; developing and maintaining the undergraduate admissions application forms within the Hobsons Radius system; consulting and collaborating with Information Technology Services (ITS) to integrate new and innovative document management and application processing technologies into the overall application processing workflows; modifying existing workflows and designs new workflows for the processing unit and measures efficiency improvements; collaborating with the leadership team to ensure innovative approaches are compatible with processing within Admissions and Merit Awards and other University offices; formulating and implementing strategies and action plans to accomplish the timely processing of application imports, accuracy of both keyed and downloaded data; researching and recommending process changes to the Senior Associate Director and overseeing testing and implementation of changes within the unit related to the undergraduate application functioning and processing; serving as a secondary point of contact for all Office of Admissions and Merit Awards official reporting and develops new reports as appropriate; analyzing user needs to design and maintain an effective CRM system; and developing and implementing a training program for staff within the department for the effective use of the CRM. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and experience in computer system development/modification or related area are required. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience. A bachelor's degree and experience in a higher education institution plus experience with CRM systems such as Hobsons Radius is preferred. Demonstrated experience in implementing, utilizing and training staff in the use of a CRM for admissions is also preferred. Additionally, a successful candidate should possess knowledge of capabilities and intricacies of information systems; ability to understand and carry out moderately complex technical instructions and requests; ability to work effectively with users, vendors, and other IT personnel; excellent verbal and written communication skills; energetic, self-motivated, multi-tasking, team player with excellent organizational and administrative abilities; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group of professionals in a demanding environment; advanced knowledge of computer software programs with advanced mathematical and analytical skills; strong time management skills with strict attention to detail to establish priorities, manage multiple projects, evaluate outcomes, and drive to deadlines.
